Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer l $25
Ok, for the first time in forever, I have to nod my head in agreement. There is a reason why the whole beauty community is raving about the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer and that reason is: It's Freaking AMAZING!!! *stops hyperventilating*
I purchased the shade, Tan Sand which is exactly similar to my skin tone, I don't necessarily use concealer 2 shades lighter under my eyes, it's more of a natural hide-those-dark-circles kinda process for me. This shade works perfectly well for that purpose. The product does smell nice, and the wand on the applicator is huge and can dispense too much product if you are not careful.
Comes in a convenient packaging and I apply few tiny dots on the dark circles and blend with my PAC concealer brush. I haven't been able to cover the entire darkness though, reasons being:
a. I am not color correcting kinda person.
b. I use very little product.
This is definitely a full coverage concealer and you can definitely go the whole 9 yards with this one if required.
Caudalie Moisturizing Sorbet Cream l $39
Caudalie is a brand that I was introduced to recently. I bought a value set, that contained the moisturizer along with few other skin essentials. I have been loving the moisturizer. The smell is refreshing and the product glides on smoothly and makes my skin plump and hydrated. I am an oily skin girl, and for me, hydration means soft skin.
One major gripe though, I have to use a little more that peanut size product to cover my entire face <talk about being a fat face>, no really, so, I am not sure how long the tube will last. Definitely, purchasing the full size during the November sale.
Inglot YSM Cream Foundation l INR 1100
Oldie but a goodie. This is by far the best medium coverage foundation I own, the color match is spot on and so is the finish. The finish is satin and I wear the shade 52. The shade has the perfect undertone for medium to tan skin. Stays without breaking up on me for 4 hours (Note: I am extremely oily).
FLOPS
How does it feel like to rub paper on the face, well, buy the blotting paper and find it out yourself. This does nothing for my face, leave the blotting part, the only saving grace, the packaging. The outer package has cute yogi cats that lure unsuspecting oily girls into their trap.
Milk Makeup Liquid Strobe in Gleam l $24
My bashing is solely based on the miniature that I received in the Sephora Sunkissed Glow Favs set. First, the roller ball packaging, I mean the product is thick, making it difficult to use with the roller ball. Hardly any product comes out after 5 minutes of vigorous hitting, and then what comes out is a sparkly mess of glitters. I get the whole highlighting trend, but the excessive sparkly glow, well, no thank you ji!
